True courage is cool and calm. The bravest of men have
the least of a brutal, bullying insolence, and in the very
time of danger are found the most serene and free.

Bullying

In accordance with the official figures more than 31,000 young people called Childline during 2003/04, making it the most common problem Childline were faced with.

Bullying can arise in many different forms from being teased, punched, ignored and left out, to being attacked because of gender, race or appearance.

Children should never feel ashamed if they are being bullied, however they can sometimes feel extreme isolation and are fearful of talking to someone face to face or on the telephone. Whilst this is obviously the best way to handle a bullying situation, some children may feel that they cannot go down these paths.

This is where the internet may prove to be an excellent aid in the first step towards encouraging children, or parents, to come forward and obtain help.

Although hot-feedback can offer total anonymity, there is also the facility to leave an email address or telephone number in order that the child, or parent, can be contacted in an innocent manner – nobody need know that they have a bullying problem, or have indeed informed someone about the bullying.

In today’s lifestyle, and in particular our children’s lifestyle, they are not far away from a computer and can go on-line both at school or at home. With a simple link to your school, emails can be sent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to your nominated staff and positive action can be taken.

Alternatively if somebody sees a child being bullied, they can report this without the fear of reprisal, but knowing that the matter can be looked into and dealt with.

As such, Hot-feedback are prepared to offer schools this facility totally FREE OF CHARGE – as a company we believe bullying should be stamped out.

Please complete your details on our Contact Us page in order that we can set up your account.

All you have to do is put up posters around your school, or install a link through your website, in order that all the children and parents are aware of this facility. One or two members of your staff can be nominated to receive the emails and report / act accordingly.
